If you've read anything at all about the recently released report from the Deficit Commission, you should know that it is another slap at the middle class and a transparently obvious attempt to lower taxes on the rich. It makes our tax system more regressive, it makes unnecessary proposals regarding Social Security and fails utterly to deal with the most dangerous budget issues facing our country over the next three decades.
